Flawless touch and superb articulation distinguish Lizaveta Bormotova's performance from others. The author's reverent attitude to the text and the integrity of the musical images make the pianist's interpretation bright, profound and unique.
Lizaveta was born in 1991 in Grodno (Belarus) in a family of musicians. In 2007 she entered the Gnesin College (Moscow) in the class of R.A. Dieva and from 2009 she continued studying with M.P. Truschechkin. After graduating from college with honors in 2011, Lizaveta began her studies at the Moscow State Conservatory P.I. Tchaikovsky with Professor M. S. Woskressenski In 2016, Lizaveta graduated from the conservatory and continued her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she studied with Lilia Zilberstein, Stefan Mendel (chamber music) and Justus Zeyen.
Lizaveta is a prize winner of many international competitions - among others 1st prize at the international competition "Barletta 2020 Piano Competition" (Italy, 2020), 3rd prize at the international competition "Classic Pure Vienna International Music Competition" 2018 (Vienna, Austria), 1st prize Prize at the international competition "IMKA" 2017 (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina), 3rd prize at the international competition "XXII Carl Filtsch International Piano Competition" 2017 (Sibiu, Romania), 1st prize at the international competition "Premio Roma 2016" (Rome , Italy), and 1st prize at the international competition-festival "Talents of the 21st Century" 2016 (Vienna, Austria). In addition, Lizaveta is the laureate of a special fund for the support of talented youth of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
Lizaveta has been teaching piano at the Friedrich Gulda School of Music Vienna since 2022. Lizaveta Bormotova has also been working as a senior artist at the Gustav Mahler Private University of Music in Klagenfurt since 2022.
Lizaveta Bormotova is currently giving solo and orchestral concerts in Europe, the USA and Brazil; Lizaveta is currently working on recording a solo CD with the music of L.van Beethoven and continues her concert life both solo and chamber music.
